Family Trip to Newport

Chris, Grace, and I went to Newport a couple weekends back. Here are some of the highlights!
Such a Girl! She was on the phone the second we arrived, no lie!

Then we stopped for some Via-Via:

Family photo on Ocean Drive in the winter:
We went out to dinner at this very fancy Italian place, I ordered a $18 salad that tasted like crap. Grace ate butter. We won't be going back there.
Then for a family swim at the pool:

The end.

Bath Time Blunder

So, last night Grace had her normal nightly tubby. Where she played with water markers and her new Barbie's. When she got out of the tub I asked her if she wanted to wear her bathrobe. She said "yeah" very excited! She loves that thing! So i put it on her and she patted her belly and took off playing. I went into the guest room to fix an outlet cover and next next thing I hear is "uh-oh" i look up and there is Grace, in her robe, standing on a little Grace size puddle. yup, she peed! I told her it was OK, since I never put on her diaper. But she was laughing at her mess and wanted that robe off!

"That's a Nice Boulder"

Grace is in love with SHREK. She watches Shrek every night before bed, good thing we have all 3 and "Shrek the Halls." She says Shrek, it sounds more like "heck" but we let it slide! She also talks to the movie! The other night she said "bye heck" when Shrek was walking away on the screen. Our only hope for our sanity is that they make a 4th so we have even more options!

Wedding Updates

We registered at the Crate and Barrel yesterday! I must say Chris did a very good job, I was a bit worried, there's a lot of glass in there~ We all know that he loves to cook so he actually had a really good time picking stuff for the kitchen out. I'm trying to update our wedding website with registry info and how far along the plans have gotten. Feel free to check back with it whenever you get a chance. It should be filling up a lot more now that we have 7 MONTHS TO GO! my my 2 years flies by!

The Grinch

For Christmas I asked for a Lovely Date out with Chris, that's al l I wanted from him! Scary how things get after 6 years and a child! So, he did a great job I was so happy! He bought us tickets to go see the play "The Grinch" in Boston and we stayed at the Omni Parker Hotel in Boston. We began our night at the "Bean Town Pub" over near Government Center where we bet on horses with fellow bar attandees. I won twice! Lucky number 4 named "Red Liquor and Lace" you can't make that up! And then we had dinner at P.F. Chang's. We love that place, Mongolian Beef is To Die For! So delicious that my parents called me at 10pm last night from P.F. Chang's in California to ask me what we always get there! haha!

"Stuck"

The other day I was getting Grace ready to go out in the snow. She was all bundled up in her snow suit, I mean bundled! I was putting on my jacket as I heard in a little elf voice, "stuck, stuck"I looked over and she was bent over on all fours, in her head to toe snow gear, "stuck stuck" she said! It was so funny :)
