We hadn't heard anything since. We chalked it up as a fun thing we did and that was the end of it. We hadn't even thought of it in months!
So, I was talking to Jillian our photographer the other day. She made a comment about how she is going to have a crazy weekend the weekend of our wedding since she needs to send Newport Magazine 25 roof by that monday. I think I said < "huh? what? what are you talking about!?" She said they had called her the day before and told her her deadlines and that we had a 2 page spread in the September issue of their mag!! I screamed for about 5 minutes! Danielle was in the background and could hear me! I was sooo excited, yet still a bit confused?
I reached out to Michael and asking him "????" He said his chief photographer person jumped the gun and called Jillian before he got to call me, and YES we have been chosen! We are in it baby!
You should see Chris! He is so excited! When I confirmed we were really in it he yelled out "YEAH!! That's so awesome!" And of course he is being hysterical and telling me that he is a "wanted man in a magazine" :)
Everyone keep your fingers crossed nothing goes wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND PRAY FOR NO RAIN!

Here's the email!!!!!!!
Dear Coreen,
Clearly a case of the cart coming before the horse. Yes, this week was the week I was supposed to be in touch with a few couples that we had agreements still "hanging" out there. SallyAnne, our photo-editor, beat me to the punch and so here I am tidying up.
I know that we had spoken a while ago regarding having your wedding featured. And this is still our intent. I know that your wedding is happening quiet close to our magazine going to the printers and so time will be of the essence. My understanding is that SallyAnne made contact with your photographer to prep her regarding our crucial time constraints. As far as photography, yes, I believe SallyAnne asked for the disk to be in her hands by that time. Who would have thought that your wedding would halt production of a magazine? Cool.
We have your wedding worksheet here, filled out to the best of your information, accepting the fact that you haven't as yet tied the knot. I was wondering how best to get the details of the day from you post wedding? Will you be off on a honeymoon? Or would there be an opportunity to speak with you or have you complete the worksheet and e-mail it in?
My best to you. And apologies for my tardiness.
Sincerely,
Michael.
